Beechcroft has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Whetstone Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Beechcroft's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
Beechcroft scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Columbus International at home to the tune of 92-53. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-28.
Meanwhile, Whetstone pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Mifflin 66-60.
The win got Beechcroft back to even at 9-9. As for Whetstone, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
Beechcroft strolled past the Braves when the teams last played back in January by a score of 70-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beechcroft since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
