The Durango Demons entered their tilt with the Palisade Bulldogs with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Durango didn't even let Palisade onto the board and left with a 19-0 win on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Durango also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Jaxon Fancher was his usual excellent self, rushing for 107 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Burns did his part by putting the 'special' in special teams, booting in four field goals.
Durango's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. As for Palisade, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Durango does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palisade will head out on the road to face off against Glenwood Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Glenwood Springs is ranked 90th, while Palisade is ranked 89th).
