Meanwhile, Pearsall really took it to Dilley for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-29 victory on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pearsall.
Crystal City pushed their record up to 9-8 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Pearsall, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Crystal City beat Pearsall 57-46 in their previous meeting back in November. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Pearsall's Xavier Rendon, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 18 rebounds.
