The Wilmington Hurricane will be playing at home against the Franklin Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
While Wilmington couldn't quite beat Hillsboro on Wednesday, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 23-point loss they were dealt on Monday. Wilmington fell just short of Hillsboro by a score of 51-48. Wilmington has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Franklin fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They had just enough and edged Brookville out 42-39.
Wilmington's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-10. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Franklin, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.
