Even though Hamilton has not done well against Italy recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Hamilton came out on top against Italy by a score of 55-45.
It was another big night for Mike Bushnell, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Colter Johnson, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Valley Mills' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 64-36 loss at the hands of Rio Vista. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Valley Mills has suffered since December 8, 2023.
Hamilton's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11. As for Valley Mills, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
Hamilton didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Valley Mills in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win.
