Adding to the longest winning streak in Mid-Continent this week, Oakley beat Ellis 53-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Plainsmen.
Oakley took down the Railroaders 53-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Jordan Dole provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Norton fell to Phillipsburg. He completed 8 passes for 91 yards and also ran for 49 yards. Dole's key target this week was Tanner Furbush, who caught 4 passes for 43 yards.
Hadley Gillum put up the best numbers in passing as Plainville beat Washington County. He finished with a total of 6 completions for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns. Gillum's favorite target this week was Gillum, who caught 2 passes for 52 yards.
The Panthers' Riley Juenemann and Grant Wickham led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Juenemann has thrown for 1,112 yards this season, while Wickham has 9 catches for 293 yards. The Bluejays' Furbush leads the league in rushing yards with 932.
Furbush has rushed for 932 yards on 159 carries so far this year.
Randall Rath's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 53 points on Ellis.
