Basketball Recap: Milan's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Milan waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 67-60 victory over the Waldron Mohawks. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 63-60 win the Mohawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Waldron saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ethan Moody dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Max Jones was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Milan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Waldron, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Milan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 83-64 loss against Batesville on the 19th. As for Waldron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-44 victory against Southwestern on the 21st.
