Crestview's Collin Gilbert recorded the longest rushing play in Inter-Tri-County - Large this season in his game against Aquinas last week. Gilbert scampered for 33 yards on the play and finished with 178 on the day as his team beat the Knights.
Crestview moved up to 103 from 149 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Paul Cusick's team was able to make move up by defeating Aquinas 51-50.
The Rebels' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gilbert threw for 88 yards and Nick Blower had 37 yards receiving. On the ground Blower chipped in 199 yards. Matt Hardenbrook helped Crestview's passing attack out by catching two balls for 25 yards.
Mineral Ridge's Jonathan Baker and Steven Phillips have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Baker has thrown for 1212 yards this season, while Phillips, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 11 catches for 450 yards. Crestview's Blower leads the league in rushing yards with 1928.
The Rebels extended the longest winning streak in Inter-Tri-County - Large this week by beating Bob Madden's team, 51-50. The victory was the 11th in a row for Crestview.
