Sawyer Staudt Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 Priest River was led to victory by  Sawyer Staudt, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Staudt wasn't messing around, rushing for 264 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. The  matchup was his fifth straight with two or   more rushing touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
 The  win was  the fourth in a row for Priest River, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Staudt and Priest River will face off against St. Maries at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

 St. Maries was sadly handed a  defeat on Friday, but  Julien Ceja-Grimaldo did his best to prevent it. Despite the   loss,  Ceja-Grimaldo was still balling out as he made ten total tackles. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 79 yards.
 St. Maries is  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-6. Ceja-Grimaldo and St. Maries will take on Priest River at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Underclassman  Porter Lewis Comes Up Big Against New Plymouth
 It was an underclassman who stole the show  on Saturday as  Porter Lewis came into the  match on a mission. New Plymouth had no answer to  Lewis  as he rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 336 yards and a touchdown. Lewis has become a key player for Kellogg: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
 This season,  Lewis  has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 209.6 passing yards per game.

Johnny Starrs' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Orofino over Priest River
 While Orofino might've come up empty  on Friday,  Johnny Starrs wasn't going down without a fight. Starrs was unstoppable, rushing for 139 yards while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 72 yards.
 Orofino is  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5. Starrs and Orofino will take on Bonners Ferry at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday.

Colton Kuprienko Makes It Two for Priest River
 The second Priest River player making an appearance here is  Colton Kuprienko, and for good reason. He made five total tackles.
 For the year,  Kuprienko  has averaged 5.2 total tackles per game.
