With a playoff win on the line, Barron rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Elk Mound Mounders 12-11. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Barron's victory bumped their record up to 19-9-1. As for Elk Mound, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-3.

Barron has already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Spooner on the 10th. As for Elk Mound, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-1 victory against Marathon on the 10th.
