Cloverdale will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Novato at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Cloverdale couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-41 to Sonoma Valley.
Meanwhile, Novato had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 6-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Piner.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
