They were the clear victor by a 79-57 margin over Rancho Solano Prep. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Valley Christian to victory were Grant Woods and Luke Shaw. Woods scored 19 points along with five rebounds, while Shaw scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The match was Shaw's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyle Grier, who scored 12 points.
Valley Christian pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.25 points. As for Rancho Solano Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-4.
Valley Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against American Leadership Academy - Ironwood at 7:00 p.m. As for Rancho Solano Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Highland Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
