Frankford's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zaire Washington, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds. Brandon Gage was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Academy at Palumbo's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Frankford, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
Academy at Palumbo will head out on the road to square off against Boys' Latin Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Northeast has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 882 points over their last 13 matchups.
