The Prairie View Thunderhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 92-46 loss at the hands of Fort Collins. While losing is never fun, Prairie View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Fort Collins is ranked 98th).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie View won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. Horizon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Prairie View likes a good challenge.
