Fans of Fannett Metal have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Landon Arnold was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Seibert, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Fannett Metal hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in six consecutive games dating back to last season.
Fannett Metal pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Northern Bedford County, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
