Manchester's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tiara Tyson, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Tyson has scored at least a third of Manchester's points. Another player making a difference was Elise Ryan, who scored 16 points.
Manchester pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Enfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester will face off against Bloomfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Enfield, they will head out on the road to take on Ledyard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Ledyard is ranked 58th, while Enfield is ranked 45th).
