Meanwhile, Kinston's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Emmanuel Christian.
Elba's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Kinston, they bumped their record down to 2-18 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
