Southern Fulton and Southern Huntingdon County are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Indians will face off against the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Southern Fulton has three straight wins, Southern Huntingdon County has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Southern Fulton had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Rockwood on Wednesday. The Indians never let the Rockets get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by eight runs or more this season.

Southern Fulton's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Indians have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Southern Huntingdon County, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Southern Fulton continue to outrun the ball?
Southern Fulton took their victory against Southern Huntingdon County in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
