Adams Central made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Blue River Valley, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Adams Central Flying Jets put the hurt on the Blue River Valley Vikings with a sharp 49-29 win on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Flying Jets have posted since November 20, 2024.

Adams Central was led to victory by Kate Fisher and Ava Stafford. Fisher went 8 of 19 en route to 24 points along with five boards and five steals, while Stafford posted 16 points along with six steals and five boards. With that strong performance, Stafford is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Lila Ringger, who put up six points and three steals.

Adams Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

When it comes to explaining why Blue River Valley lost, don't look at Ella Schmitt. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points. Daisy Souther was another key player, putting up seven points.
