West County is 0-6 against Central since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The West County Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Central Rebels at 7:30 p.m. West County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while Central is ranked 34th).
On January 5th, West County came up short against Kingston and fell 57-45. West County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, even though Farmington scored an imposing 85 points on Friday, Central still came out on top. Central secured a 89-85 W over Farmington.
Jobe Bryant continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 31 points and ten assists. Bryant is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Casey, who scored 19 points.
West County's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
West County was taken down by Central 69-31 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can West County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
