Deep Run never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Maggie Walker with a sharp 24-0 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won five games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Will Frank looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Henry Jennings was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Carson Strieffler, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Deep Run always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .681. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Deep Run pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Maggie Walker, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deep Run will face off against Godwin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maggie Walker, they will challenge John Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Justices have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.33 runs per game on average), something Maggie Walker will no doubt try to take advantage of.
