Cordova can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Rio Vista Rams as the Cordova Lancers made off with a 53-32 victory. The Lancers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cordova's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Rio Vista, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordova will be home for the holidays to greet Rodriguez at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rodriguez knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Cordova likes a good challenge. As for Rio Vista, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lindhurst at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
