South Gray put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Spearville Lancers by a score of 73-64. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Spearville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danny Alcala, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine assists. Those nine assists gave Alcala a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Layson Wheaton, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 15 points.

South Gray's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Spearville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
