No one put up better numbers for Florence than senior Degerrick Lee, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns. Junior Ian Vaughn was in the mix, too, providing Florence with 3 touchdowns.
The victory bumped Florence's record up to 3-5. Raymond are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-8.
Next week Florence take on McComb at 7:00 PM. McComb are limping into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Raymond, they will face off against Choctaw Central. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
