Basketball Recap: Fort Bend Dulles Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Dulles was the 73-60 winner over Clear Brook when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Fort Bend Dulles Vikings took a 63-44 bruising from the Clear Brook Wolverines on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1051st, while the Wolverines are ranked 296th).

Despite the loss, Fort Bend Dulles still got an impressive performance from Jayden Redhead, who posted 20 points. With that strong performance, Redhead is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Koovakada, who earned 12 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Fort Bend Dulles and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for Clear Brook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Fort Bend Dulles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-37 defeat against Ball on the 7th. Clear Brook has also already played their next game, a 74-56 loss against College Park on the 7th.
