Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Potomac to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marshawn Perry, who threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Bernard Howard was another key contributor, picking up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why Thomas Stone lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jeremiah Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns.
Potomac's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Thomas Stone, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Potomac will be playing at home against Gwynn Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Gwynn Park's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six games. Thomas Stone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
