Ramsay had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 13-8 victory over Carver Birmingham on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-10 back in March.

Fred Edwards looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, Ramsay got a massive performance out of Armani Rogers, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Rogers has posted since back in February. Pierce Alexander also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Ramsay's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 9-15. As for Carver Birmingham, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Ramsay wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-2 loss against Hueytown on the 7th. Carver Birmingham has also already played their next game (against Fultondale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
