The Buckeye Hawks waltzed into their match on Thursday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Glendale 52-17 at home. Buckeye has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 30 points or more this season.
Buckeye was led to victory by Amayah Leyva and Isabel Ramirez. Leyva scored 19 points along with seven steals, while Ramirez almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Ramirez hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for four straight games. Mikalah Tensley was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five steals.
Buckeye has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
