The Lakeshore will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Franklinton Demons at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Lakeshore can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 56-28 win over Archbishop Hannan. The victory was familiar territory for Lakeshore who now have three in a row.
Jaden Wells was a one-man wrecking crew for Lakeshore as he picked up 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Wells' longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards. Another player making a difference was Oudrey Gros, who rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Franklinton had to settle for a 52-49 loss against Loranger on Friday. Franklinton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lakeshore is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Franklinton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
