Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookhaven). They enjoyed a cozy 56-40 win over the Provine Rams on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-42 on January 3rd.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brookhaven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kema Roberts, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 15 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Sh'Nya Hill, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Brookhaven was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

The victory got Brookhaven back to even at 11-11. As for Provine, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Brookhaven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-37 defeat against North Pike on the 24th. Provine has also already played their next game, a 48-32 loss against Natchez on the 24th.
