After flying high against the Norborne Pirates back in December of 2023, Hale/Bosworth came back down to earth. Hale/Bosworth received a tough blow on Saturday as they fell 71-57 to Braymer. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in December of 2023 (56), Hale/Bosworth still had to take the loss.
Braymer was led to victory by Jordan Haley and Dakota Brandon. Haley scored 23 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Brandon scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Haley hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Landon Baker, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Hale/Bosworth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Braymer, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
Hale/Bosworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Braymer, they will head out on the road to square off against Higbee at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Higbee will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Braymer surely won't give up without a fight.
