Langley is 6-0 against Wakefield since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Langley Saxons will look to defend their home court against the Wakefield Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Langley will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.
Last Monday, Langley earned a 51-40 victory over Yorktown. 51 seems to be a good number for Langley as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Langley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anya Rahman, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Peyton Daley was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Wakefield had to settle for a 47-44 loss against Yorktown on January 2nd.
Langley's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Wakefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Langley strolled past Wakefield when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 41-22. Will Langley repeat their success, or does Wakefield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
