Mt. Bethel Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gbayito Oluwatomisin, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and six steals. Oluwatomisin hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Berkley Vinson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Paideia, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Mt. Bethel Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Mt. Bethel Christian Academy likes a good challenge. As for Paideia, they will be playing at home against Whitefield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitefield Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
