They came out on top against Crawford by a score of 44-37. That's another feather in the cap for Hay Springs, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Hay Springs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Twarling, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which Twarling has scored at least 25% of Hay Springs' points. Mya Turman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Crawford still got an impressive performance from Britney Klein, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The match was Klein's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Juhnke, who scored five points along with ten rebounds.
Hay Springs is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Crawford, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
