Noah Pollard Dazzles in Carmi-White County Win
Starting off the list is Carmi-White County's Noah Pollard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pollard rushed for 203 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 131 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Carmi-White County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Pollard and Carmi-White County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Johnston City at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

On Friday, Fairfield got the W thanks in part to Michael Barner playing the best football he has all season. Barner rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.
Fairfield now has a winning record of 4-3. Barner and Fairfield will challenge Hamilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Fairfield got the W thanks in part to Israel Sargent playing the best football he has all season. Sargent's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass.
For the year, Sargent has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 130.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 15.67 rushing yards per game.
