Kaden Beckerink was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with six steals for Clymer Central. That makes it three consecutive games in which Beckerink has scored at least 25% of Clymer Central's points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Massing, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Clymer Central, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.
Northwestern and North East will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. North East presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northwestern in Pennsylvania (North East is ranked 241st, while Northwestern is ranked 679th). Clymer Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sherman at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
