Huston Stockton Delivers Best Effort of Season
Huston Stockton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Forsan to the win on Friday. Stockton rushed for 241 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (115.9). Those 241 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Stockton and Forsan will head out on the road to square off against Christoval at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Stockton up against the Cougars' star RB Manuel Riojas. Jarrett Brown produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Reagan County to the win on Friday. Brown rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Reagan County's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Brown's next contest is against Sonora on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
