The Boyceville Bulldogs will square off against the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyceville will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Monday, Boyceville made easy work of Pepin/Alma and carried off an 8-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

Aubrey Malean made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Boyceville let Brooklyn Talmage and Gretta Guy run wild. Talmage got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one double and one RBI, while Guy went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI. That double marked the first that Talmage has hit this season. Lilly Lain was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elmwood/Plum City). They came out on top against Alma Center Lincoln by a score of 16-11 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Britta Link was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Link was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Brittany Bechel was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ellison Maxwell, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs.
Boyceville's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Elmwood/Plum City, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4.
Elmwood/Plum City's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Boyceville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. It's a different story for Elmwood/Plum City, though, as they've only averaged .290. Will they be able to contain Boyceville's hitters?
Boyceville beat Elmwood/Plum City 4-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
