The Perry Pirates put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Crestwood, posting a 56-0 victory at home. Considering Perry has won nine contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jayden Studio was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. Studio was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
Perry's win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points per game. As for Crestwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
Perry will take on Sandy Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sandy Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Perry is ranked 24th). Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
