Ellicott took an ego-bruising defeat against Rocky Ford last Saturday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Friday. Ellicott were able to grind out a solid victory over Trinidad on Friday, winning 18-6. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Ellicott as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Finally capturing their first win of the season, Ellicott advanced to 1-6. Trinidad are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Ellicott take on John Mall at 7:00 PM. Ellicott will be strutting in after a victory while John Mall will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Trinidad, they will face off against Rocky Ford. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
