With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game.  Claire Mackenny was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Model had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with  a   38-30  victory over North Cobb.
 Lassiter's loss  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 3-1. As for Model, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
