After a string of three wins, Calvin's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result was an unpleasant reminder to them of the 9-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.
Haley Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and seven unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up seven Ks.
