Air Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 49-48 victory over the Pine Creek Eagles. The 49-point effort marked the Kadets' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Air Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tatyonna Brown led the charge by dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. Brown's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kinley Asp, who posted 15 points and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Pine Creek lost, don't look at Brooklyn Stewart. Despite the final result, she went 6 for 14 on her way to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and four blocks. Leekaya Burke-Perryman was another key player, putting up five points along with eight boards and five assists.

Air Academy's win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Pine Creek, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-1.
