Harrisburg lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Herrin, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's game. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Tigers on Monday by a score of 6-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Harrisburg has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Herrin, they dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Harrisburg will challenge Murphysboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Herrin, they will square off against DuQuoin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
