Lampeter-Strasburg walked away with a 56-47 victory over Eastern Lebanon County on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Lampeter-Strasburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lampeter-Strasburg was led to victory by Dean Herr and Chase Smucker. Herr scored 12 points along with five steals, while Smucker scored 17 points along with four steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Yasin Abdi was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Lampeter-Strasburg pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Eastern Lebanon County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lampeter-Strasburg will be home for the holidays to greet Donegal at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Donegal's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they will play host again and welcome Wyomissing, where tip off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
