Deep Run is 2-8 against Glen Allen since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Deep Run will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Deep Run's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Cosby 2-0. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Wildcats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Not much got past Emily Plank, who gave up just four hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Cosby off the board. With that strong performance, Plank is now averaging an impressive 6.2 strikeouts per game.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braelyn Baulsir, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
Meanwhile, Glen Allen didn't have quite enough to beat King William on Wednesday and fell 7-6.
Libby Schein was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Glen Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Deep Run, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Deep Run has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Glen Allen struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Deep Run couldn't quite get it done against Glen Allen in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 as they fell 7-2. Will the Wildcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
