Having just played yesterday, the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Voorheesville Blackbirds at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Cobleskill-Richmondville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They were beaten by Albany Academy for Girls 65-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cobleskill-Richmondville has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Voorheesville was the victim of a rough 53-27 defeat at the hands of Coxsackie-Athens on Wednesday. Cobleskill-Richmondville's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Voorheesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Cobleskill-Richmondville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Voorheesville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 49-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cobleskill-Richmondville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
