After a disappointing 6 points in the match before, Doniphan West made sure to put some points up on the board against Onaga on Friday. Doniphan West steamrollered Onaga 58-20. Doniphan West were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped Doniphan West's record up to 1-3. Onaga are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Doniphan West will look to defend their home turf next week against Linn. Linn took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Doniphan West's good fortune. As for Onaga, they will face off against Hanover. Onaga stagger into the matchup hobbled by four consecutive losses while Hanover skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
