Circle had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Winfield Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunderbirds also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Circle easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14.

Winfield is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Circle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Buhler on the 2nd. As for Winfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Augusta on the 9th.
