Pearl River took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Cohen 55-16. That result is just more of the same for Pearl River, who also won the last time these teams played.
Pearl River's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 35 points in the first half. Cohen came up with 8 to make it 35-8 heading into the break. The offense for Pearl River continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Pearl River will look to defend their home turf next week against Sci Academy at 7:00 PM. As for Cohen, they will face off against Springfield.
